The leash, or more appropriately the string the commission has on the current manager will get shorter when Murray or Stahl figure out their new boy is in over his head. Then again, maybe it isn't just Kline that's struggling to keep his nose above water. What a strange coincidence that a new commission president (or king or prime minister) and new city manager find it necessary to ambush the police chief and lower themselves to a manure pit. Shameful.

The letter from ex-police officer Gary Frankowski reflects common sense logic from an observer who has worked with Chief Nuesse and understands the difficulty of her position. Anyone care to guess what is motivating Kline, Icsman and the commission to pursue this witch hunt with the finesse of a lynch mob?

Maybe the residents of Sandusky will find their arrogant city commission and the idiots disguised as city officials less attractive after the police chief lightens the city coffers for their stupidity.

A wolf pack mentality is not the group required to direct a dying city that needs vision of its elected officials.

I've heard enough cheap talk from the gang that has fallen in love with the sound of their own voices. Sorry Mr. Murray -- you're a dud! Watch out Kline -- you'll be on the elimination list when this backfires in your face.
