A Bellevue man accused of performing lewd sexual acts  with a picnic table was charged last week with public indecency.

Art Price Jr., 40, 100 block of Brinker St., was charged with four felony counts of public indecency after police said he was caught on tape pleasuring himself with a metal picnic table on the deck behind his home.

A confidential source told authorities about Price’s behavior and, on an officer’s recommendation, videotaped Price on four occasions from Jan. 29 to March 14, a police report states.

In an interview with police, Price allegedly admitted to the activity and told police he also took the table indoors.

Price, who is an employee at the Sandusky Register, was released on a signature bond.
