PORT CLINTON

Beer could be sold at the Ottawa County Fair for the second year in a row.

Ottawa County commissioners gave their approval Tuesday to allow fair board officials to pursue a liquor permit.

Last year was the first year alcohol was sold at the fair and, despite some reservations about doing so, there were no major problems involving alcohol, Sheriff Bob Bratton said.
