NORWALK

A crash between a four-wheeler and a car on Whittlesey Road north of Norwalk sent two Norwalk men to the hospital, state troopers said Saturday.

Paul H. Zinn, 34, 3213 W. Ohio 113, was taken by medical helicopter to St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, after the 4:55 p.m. accident, according to troopers from the Norwalk post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Zinn was riding a Yamaha four-wheeler north on Whittlesey Road at Lovers Lane and went left of center, colliding head-on with a Pontaiac G5 driven south by Christopher A. Bores, 20, 1276 Peru Hollow Road, Norwalk. Bores was taken by North Central EMS to Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk, with "incapacitating" injuries, troopers said.

Troopers said Zinn, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from his four-wheeler and landed in a ravine. Bores was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.

The crash remained under investigation Saturday night, troopers said.
