I would like to encourage every resident of Sandusky to drive along the waterfront and then call me to explain why the Keller Building, which looks to be nothing more than an ugly, derelict factory and which apparently no one wants to restore, is still being patched up. Recently some very attractive street lighting has been installed in that area and it looks great as long as you don't lift your eyes up to see the broken windows and the tacky painted plywood covering even more broken windows. We won't even talk about the sinister yellow caution tape.
Just a suggestion: Why not remove the Keller Building, fix the bad streets around it and turn it into additional "green space". It might just make Sandusky's beautiful waterfront a more inviting place to both residents and visitors.
