Tuesday night’s meeting at BGSU Firelands had interesting speakers, useful slides and fact-filled handouts.
But perhaps the best feature of the “Weigh in on Wind” public outreach meeting was the big crowd that jammed inside a room at Cedar Point Center, eager to hear about wind power’s potential to provide green energy and produce jobs.
The crowd numbered perhaps 120, and additional chairs had to be hastily set up to accommodate them.
The speakers acknowledged the turnout.
“It’s great to see we have a lot of attendance here tonight,” said Steve Watts, a Green Energy Ohio volunteer. “Word is getting out.”
