PERKINS TWP.

A four-leaf clover is lucky.

But if you buy a gold or green shamrock, it will raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Discount Drug Mart, 124 E. Perkins Ave., is one of many local companies participating in Shamrocks Against Muscular Dystrophy, and was the largest local seller, raising $1,400 as of Friday.

The fundraiser began Feb. 22 and ends today — St. Patrick’s Day.
