March continues to come in like a lion with as much as a foot of snow expected by Saturday night.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for north-central Ohio. The warning is in effect through Saturday.

Snow is expected to continue to fall this afternoon with 3 to 5 inches accumulated by dark. Accompanying that snowfall is gusty northerly winds that could reach 30 mph, reducing visibility through Saturday.

There may be a lull overnight, but snow is expected to fall all day Saturday resulting in a total accumulation of about 12 inches.

Drivers should be aware of blowing and drifting snow which creates bad driving conditions.
