Mulvin the real deal

David Mulvin is the right man to lead Erie County.

He has proven leadership and government management experience, unlike his opponent. He has received numerous calls from city employees who worked with him when he was Director of Public Services for Sandusky and who are truly excited that Dave could be their next county commissioner. They know Dave's the man who can make great things happen. When was the last time you felt excited about a candidate?

I believe Dave will shake up the status quo and build new bridges between leaders, citizens and government entities.

Dave will come up with solutions and get the job done. He's not afraid of challenge, change or hard work. He doesn't duck and run when the going gets tough. This guy is the real deal ... no phony rambling rhetoric to cover up his inexperience ... no name dropping ... just straight talk, hard work and results! Please vote for David Mulvin, Republican for Erie County Commissioner.

During the debate between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, Clinton criticized Obama about his recent use of a friend's speech during a speech of his own. I have to agree that, at the very least, he should have credited his friend before quoting him. Clinton stated that if he is for change, Obama should use his own words to support his own change instead of "change you can Xerox."

What politician out there does not have numerous "friends" writing speech after speech for them?

Perhaps Clinton and her "friends" forgot this simple truth when, in their desperation to attack the frontrunning Obama, they engaged in the type of petty bickering and political gamesmanship that many who support Obama are sick and tired of.

Clinton may want to search out new "friends" that she can "Xerox."
