When Sandusky says it wants to merge its police and fire operations with Perkins, they might as well say annexation.

Wouldn't it be easier for Sandusky to merge with Bay View? I think Bay View already has a 911 set up and then if they were to merge they wouldn't have to cross those train tracks on Venice Road anymore. They could build on the outskirts of Bay View and Sandusky. Then they wouldn't have to build a costly overpass. But that's too much thinking for the Sandusky Commissioners and Perkins Trustees because it makes good sense.

Sandusky just wants Perkins' good tax base.
