When students misbehave in school, they are often sent home. The same is evidently true of school officials.

Western Reserve superintendent Doug Solet was placed on paid administrative leave Wednesday night pending further board action, board of education president Cheryl Fannin said.

Fannin kept her comments on the subject brief.

"We either have to put him back in normal status or do something, so yes, we have to take additional board action," Fannin said, adding she had nothing more to say.
