OAK HARBOR

Two former employees at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station filed a lawsuit last week against the plant's owner FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Co. for unlawful termination.

Mark Whitaker, of Marblehead, and Timothy Camick, of Holland, were terminated last summer for "alleged violations of work rules and policies," according to a civil lawsuit filed in Ottawa County.

Both men were security shift supervisors at Davis-Besse and had each filed complaints and reported matters involving "workplace safety and other safety concerns," court records show.
