Silly reasons for airport

Let me add my voice to others who have contacted the Register, protesting the proposed $87 million pork/unnecessary airport.

Let me add my voice to others who have contacted the Register, protesting the proposed $87 million pork/unnecessary airport.

That $87 million could be spent wisely for a host of Erie County's needed public projects, and would go a long way.

The FAA didn't buy into the special interests silly/shallow reasons to build this "political pork" project, as they understand Erie County shares a safe, modern FAA funded airport, 15 minutes away.

A reality check -- since 1967, Erie County taxpayers shared in its $12 million construction, it's all paid for, and 15 minutes away!

Let's stop this self serving silly season, during these tight financial times, by adding unnecessary taxes for "oink, oink"!
