This March, citizens of the Clyde-Green Springs school district have a once in a lifetime opportunity to accept a $36 million gift from the state of Ohio to build new schools. Voters should be eager to say "yes" to this gift before this offer passes us by and is offered to surrounding school districts.

It is now our turn to have schools that we can be proud of. It is only a matter of time before our school district will be forced to replace these old and dilapidated buildings. Let's take advantage of this gift from the state to cover 66 percent of the total cost of this project. An offer such as this will greatly ease our financial burden, while we still fulfill our responsibilities in providing safe and sound buildings for our children.
