Speak up. That's what Sandusky commissioners told city staff when it comes to joint dispatch discussions.
At Monday night's meeting, commissioner Dan Kaman asked the city's police and fire chiefs to continue to go out and educate the public on the joint dispatch efforts with Perkins Township.
"Who better to ask than our own police chiefs, fire chiefs?" Kaman asked. "I won't be offended if (fire Chief Mike Meinzer or police Chief Kim Nuesse) say something that I am personally against."
