Corey Croom was long gone from New England before Tom Brady and Bill Belichick turned the Patriots into the team of this decade.
But back in the day, he did his part.
"As an alumni, I think it's great what they've accomplished because I know where they were when I got there," the Sandusky graduate said. "When I got there, New England was 2-14, 1-15 and pretty much the laughingstock of the league, so I take great pride to see them turn it around and be the best of the decade because I was there and helped the turnaround."
