CASTALIA

The death of a Sandusky man who fell down several cement apartment steps and into the basement of a Castalia home has been ruled a homicide, according to Castalia police Chief Ken Majoy.

Thomas Campbell, 48, died Jan. 12 while at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. No charges have been filed. Instead the case will be presented to the next Erie County grand jury, Majoy said.
