Huron and Huron Township officials plan to spend $536,000 to upgrade the park adjacent to Ohio 2 and U.S. 6.
The new developments should bolster park accessibility first and foremost, Huron city manager Andy White said, although there are many other issues the money will help solve.
"This is long overdue," White said. "The fields hold a lot of water and the parking lot is a mess and is in need for a major overhaul."
