SANDUSKY

Just shy of a month behind bars, Derek Parker has decided to come clean.  The Erie County Sheriff's office confirmed Thursday a letter of apology sent to the Sandusky Register was indeed penned by Parker.

"My name is Derek Parker," it read, "and I am the one who called in the bomb threat to Sandusky High School. And, I would like to formally and respectfully apologize to the students, and staff of Sandusky High School and to the police officers and persons involved with this waste of time and money."
