LETTER: Plenty of scrapbook shops

The recent article published about the scrapbook store that opened in Clyde was well written and highlighted areas of interest to me regarding scrapbook supplies and trends. My concern is the interview with the owner. She states that the closest scrapbook store is in Cleveland.

If I did not live in Fremont and know about Scrapbook Attic, I would be heading to Cleveland if I was an avid scrapbook fanatic. I would also be ignorant about the other five stores located near Clyde. Therefore, I would not be given an opportunity to support local stores and be treated with personal attention that lacks in big chain stores. I do not know what stores are available in Cleveland, but I do know that my time and miles would be wasted, as well as a personal connection to support my local community.

I believe that before the article was printed, facts should have been checked, therefore, people like myself would not have been misguided and misinformed.
