An out-of-state man is wanted for attempted murder in the shooting of another man a year ago.

Description: A black male, 5-feet, 4-inches tall and 155 pounds.
Charges: Attempted murder, two counts of felonious assault, aggravated robbery and having weapons while under disability.
What happened: On Jan. 22, 2007, Williams shot 33-year-old Thomas King, also of Illinois, in the head with a .38-caliber semi-automatic pistol, according to police.
Williams is believed to have left the state. He has prior arrests, including for felonious assault on a police officer, in Mansfield in July 2005.
