SANDUSKY

The second day of the year brought a significant cocaine bust by police.

At about 5:22 p.m. Wednesday, Sandusky police arrested two men on drug charges and confiscated a 1/2 kilogram of cocaine with a street value of more than $10,000.

Patrick J. Brown, 27, 1000 block of Jay St., and Curtis C. Payton, 48, 1400 block of Lindsley St., are now sitting in the Erie County jail on several felony charges each.
