The local Salvation Army needs a few recruits.  Struggling to meet even half its fundraising goal, the charitable organization is dealing with a new problem — not enough bell ringers.

Capt. Mark Larrick said the local Salvation Army is down to 10 paid bell ringers. Three have just quit, including two who were suddenly called out of state for family emergencies.
