Lena Camella, a Sandusky High School senior, has been nominate to compete in the national Principal's Leadership Award, (PLA) scholarship program.

One hundred national PLA winners will be chosen this spring to receive college scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $12,000.

"I nominated Lena because she is one of the best that SHS has to offer," principal Dan Poggiali said. "She is involved in so many activities here and is always striving to help others."
