Sandusky city commissioners wanted a youth center. What better than the old Monroe School?

But no help has been given to the Sanctuary Four Seasons after several requests. The Register, police and schools are concerned about a gangs. What better way to help these young folks stay out of trouble by providing them a place to play, get together and form some direction in life.

The youth center is trying to get all repairs done and going forward, but there is no one to help and money and workers are needed.

Why aren't the commissioners doing anything? Why isn't the Register making a big deal about it? What is needed to stir the city, a bigger problem like gangs? When the Sanctuary Fours Seasons is opened, don't come around for your picture or dedication and smiles, unless you have been a part of it.

I don't like show-and-go folks. Isn't there someone out there who really cares, who really has a heart for this center? The board of Fours Seasons won't say anything, but I will because I like to speak my mind. And yes, I have been involved doing what I can!
