The city of Huron is not responsible for the drowning deaths of four men in 2002.

That's the verdict from the Sixth District Court of Appeals in Toledo.

The lawsuit was filed in 2004 by the families of the deceased men and was ruled on by Erie County Common Pleas Court Judge Tygh Tone. The men died trying to rescue a woman off of Nickel Plate Beach in Huron.
