Corps of Engineers wants revised layout; developers express interest in Keller building
The Paper District remains on pause.
After a phone conversation between the city and the Army Corps of Engineers didn't go quite as planned, the city must wait a little longer to resume work on the project.
Former Interim City Manager Don Miears said the Corps has requested the city provide a revised layout of the intended use for the property.
"As soon as we get the permit, we're going to start work," he said.
The permit covers work on the east end of the Chesapeake building, including the marina.
