BERLIN TWP.

Two hunters were stabbed this morning by a drifter in a Berlin Township field near Ohio 2.

One man was stabbed in the head, and the other was stabbed repeatedly in the back. Both men survived the attack and were taken to hospitals.

Chad Rothgeb, 22, of Norwalk has been taken to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. Mitchell Bellamy, 28, of Berlin Heights was taken to Community Health Partners hospital in Lorain.

The suspected attacker, Tyrone Cash, 22, of Lorain was arrested and taken to Erie County Jail. Cash is charged with two counts of felonious assault and one count aggravated robbery. More charges are likely, according to Erie County Sheriff's Capt. Paul Sigsworth.

A stranger walks up to you in the woods and you let him get that close??
I guess I'm just a bit more wary than that.
