Thumbs up to Kathleen Parker for documenting that "safe sex" is categorically not as safe as it's cracked up to be!
Sure, you are marginally safer using condoms for sex with multiple partners, but you are still indulging in extremely risky behavior. You are still exposing yourself to all the varieties of STDs each of your partners picked up in their previous sexual adventures.
What I don't find scary is that a school nurse had the courage to turn down teaching the safe sex mythology to yet another generation of innocent youngsters -- for religious reasons to be sure, but also on the basis of sound medical information. While "God is not mocked," neither is Mother Nature! Risky sexual behaviors have consequences you won't like!
What I find extremely scary is that our Erie County Health Department and our schools are misusing our tax dollars to foist this bogus information on innocent young people.
If you still believe condoms make sex with multiple partners safe, there is a bridge on U.S. 250 in Milan I'd like to sell you!
