NORWALK

Norwalk’s complicated 1st Ward city council race just became even more complicated thanks to a ruling issued Friday from Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner’s office.

First Ward candidates Scott Krichbaum and Lynn Chapin ran for office against one another Nov. 6, but it wasn’t supposed to be that way.

Chapin lives in the 4th Ward, not the 1st, which means Krichbaum should have been running unopposed.

Find out what the Secretary of State’s office had to say and how this impacts the Norwalk council seat in Wednesday’s Register.
