Sandusky City School officials said they are keeping their fingers crossed until the results of Tuesday's 5.4-mill operating levy are announced.

"Everyone seems to have a positive outlook," school board president Faith Denslow said. "We've heard word from quite a few people they will be supporting the levy, and we're hoping that holds true the day of the election."
