MARGARETTA TWP.

Brian Erckman thought he'd finally gotten a break. He was notified through mail he won a cash award sweepstakes of nearly $70,000. The company, Broadway Asia Entertainment, sent Erckman a check for $2,249, which would cover the taxes on his winnings.

All he needed to do was cash the check and MoneyGram the money to the Canadian IRS. He was told that after he sent the taxes to the Canadian IRS, he would receive his check of $68,000.
