BERLIN HEIGHTS

This tower of a flower is approaching a world record. At 9 feet 10 inches tall, the African Marigold raised by Rebecca Shanks, 12, and her parents, Todd and Cindy Adams, is only 2 inches shy of the world record of 10 feet.

"Around August, we noticed this one was getting pretty tall," Cindy said.
