A 17-year-old boy who escaped from a Clyde fire Monday is now being charged with attempted murder and arson.

James Rogers, formerly of 129 W. McPherson Highway in Clyde, faces two counts of attempted murder and three counts of aggravated arson. Clyde police say he intentionally set the house on fire while his mother and sister slept.
