Flashing railroad crossing lights on Ohio 2 might be more welcomed than an annoyance.

The crossing has had a history of train-vehicle collisions, including a single fatality in April 2006. With the addition of flashing red and yellow lights and street lights, the railroad crossing is now safer for nighttime motorists, said Aaron Behrman, production administrator for Ohio Department of Transportation District 2.
