For Hymore-Tester in P.C.

I have heard several members of the Democratic Party say they will not vote for Debbie Hymore-Tester because she is a Republican.

I have heard several members of the Democratic Party say they will not vote for Debbie Hymore-Tester because she is a Republican.

That may be noble, but Jeff Morgan is a registered Republican, and is on our city council as a Republican and is supported by the Republican Party.

Jeff Morgan running as a Republican would have forced a primary election and, in my opinion, he would not have won against Debbie Hymore-Tester.

Morgan has held minimal meetings as Chairman of the Business and Industrial Development Committee which could benefit Port Clinton economically, and is currently dividing the city by trying to stop economic progress with the Water Works Project.

I hope all of you look at the candidates and their contributions to Port Clinton, and put aside the Democrats vs. the Republicans, and vote for the best candidate for mayor, which is Debbie Hymore-Tester.

She has worked hard for the city and for her constituents with her projects: The Derby Pond, Hold'em Poker Tournaments, whose proceeds go to different charities and organizations (i.e. the Fire Department), making the railroad officials responsible for the safety and upkeep of the tracks and viaducts, along with organizing and getting community support and donations to paint and clean the viaducts, Harvest Haul Race fundraiser for Port Clinton Parks & Recreation Dept. and Ruth Ann's House just to mention a few of her special efforts for the City of Port Clinton and its citizens.
