Since the people are going to get to vote on the Marina Project, I have already decided how I'm going to cast my vote. I am voting "NO".

I am voting no because we don't need any more condos built. Everywhere you look condos are being built. Who can afford a condo when jobs are leaving Sandusky? Look all around at the "For Sale" signs on homes in the area.

Why isn't the city commission getting off its duff and doing something about getting jobs into the area? Also, we don't need any more new retail space being built when there is a lot of empty retail space in the area. Look where new retail space was built and now it just sits empty. I fear that this is what will happen with the Marina Project. People need to wake up on this issue and cast a "no" vote when the time comes.

If the people vote this down, maybe our city leaders will get their priorities in order and do something to help everyone in Sandusky, not just the tourists or the rich.
