WEB UPDATE: Tractor trailer collision closes part of Ohio 4

Two tractor trailers collided on Ohio 4 just south of Ohio 113 in Huron County near Lyme Village at about 11 a.m. today.

Two tractor trailers collided on Ohio 4 just south of Ohio 113 in Huron County near Lyme Village at about 11 a.m. today.

The accident caused the cab of one vehicle to burn to the ground. Emergency Management Agency and fire department crews have been on the scene to evaluate the fuel spills.

Those involved in the accident sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries according to the Norwalk post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Ohio 4 between Ohio 113 and U.S. 20 is closed until the wreckage is removed and investigation concluded.

The Ohio Department of Transportation has crews on hand to direct traffic.
