12:15 a.m. -- Ohio 4, Sandusky, David B. Coverdale, 36, of Parma charged with drunken driving and cited for failure to control after crashing car in ditch on his way to Fairfield Hospital from Parma. Coverdale told a deputy he thought he was in Brunswick when he crashed. His blood alcohol content was .212 percent.

12:23 p.m. -- 3317 Harvest Ridge D., Huron, woman reported a suspicious man watching children play near Tracht Meadows Drive. The man drove away when the woman approached his vehicle, a white-over-gray Chevrolet Corvette.

7:20 a.m. -- 1843 Superior St., several residents said sometime after 11 p.m. Tuesday, someone let the air out of the tires of seven bicycles near the northwest corner of the rear parking lot. They asked that police patrol the lot at night to discourage future vandalism.
8:20 a.m. -- 2130 Hayes Ave., someone shattered a Sandusky High School teacher's driver door window and stole her purse. School cameras caught sight of the suspected perpetrator looking through a purse, but the images weren't clear enough to identify the person.
10:06 a.m. -- 600 block of E. Washington St., neighborhood man told police that at some time during the night, someone stole two "very large" fern plants that were hanging from his porch.
10:33 a.m. -- 223 E. Osborne St., day care worker and child find a man sitting in a portable rest room with blood on the floor and toilet seat. He walked away under his own power.
