PERKINS TWP.

A man who thought someone sabotaged his shoe with poo apparently decided to take action into his own hands Sunday, throwing bricks at a neighbor's home.

Police responded to a call at 5:33 p.m. from a 41-year-old Dewitt Avenue man who said someone threw a brick though a window in his home.

An intoxicated Freddie D. Goff Jr., 24, 300 block of Dewitt Ave., was found standing with no shirt or shoes on, according to the police report.

When police asked Goff what happened, they said he told them he was drinking in his backyard and someone threw feces in his shoe. Police did not observe anything in the shoe, but noted it "smelled as if someone defecated inside," according to the report.

The shoe incident caused Goff to become upset and throw bricks through the windows as a result, the report said, adding that he later apologized for doing so. Police met with the property owner, who said he did not want to pursue charges.

Goff was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated and taken to Erie County Jail.
