Some statistics say that one in five Mexican adults is living illegally in American, so why not use that statistic in our favor? In a battle, any general would consider it a major defeat if 10 percent of their troops were killed and/or captured. If you look at it that way, we've already defeated Mexico, so let's demand their surrender and annex the whole country.

Just imagine all the benefits of turning Mexico into part of the U.S. Mexico is one of our largest suppliers of oil so we would then not have to import as much oil, which politicians could then take credit for by making America more energy sufficient. Halliburton could build gasoline refineries south of the old border and not in our back yards, and use cheap labor to increase their profits even more.

Mexicans would also not have to leave home to come to America because they would already be here ... there ... whatever. We wouldn't have to worry about NAFTA as much either because when companies relocate to the former country of Mexico... they wouldn't be actually leaving America any more. Sure, people would grumble when they lose their jobs, but it's not like their job would be going to another country, just to another part of a bigger America.

And just imagine the tourist industry's windfall! We could build a zillion hotels with cheap labor that would contribute to the tax base and economy instead of draining it away and sending their wages to another country. Then we could invade ... I mean "move" southward and buy condos on the coastlines of America, and with a local population already there to serve our every need.

So, the solution to illegal immigration is just a matter of how you go about looking at the problem. Write your Congressperson and help make America great(er).
