The Bureau of Workers Compensation is killing small business with its administrative rulings. These are not laws. They have raised the minimum rate from $10 to $50 for a zero return. All corporations must report semi-annual. This is a 500 percent increase and only affects small business.

They also stated that an officer, must report at least $352 per week, even if he does not earn that amount. My small business earned $7,500 for the year, but I must pay workers compensation based on $18,340 or I can elect to discontinue coverage if I am the only officer and employee.

How is this fair? This will only hurt small business. Small business is paying for the BWC coin losses.

Please write your state legislature concerning this injustice. It will drive small business from Ohio.
