Recently, I read an article in an area newspaper about the development of U.S. 20 east of Bellevue and the controversy over the water. We own a small piece of property in this area and for us sewer is the big thing.

The VFW is in a really big pickle as they need services the city can offer in a very urgent way. They are stuck between a rock and a hard place. For property owners in a four-lane, busy highway to be taken into Bellevue and receive all the services the city has to offer can only be a big plus.

Also, my son and I have attended three meetings concerning this issue and I can tell you Gail Ball has done her homework and knows what she is talking about. I am sure she would be happy to take her time one-on-one to explain this issue with anyone who may be interested. The big thing happening here is that progress is being denied and future jobs for this area are being lost. Heaven knows we could use them.
