SANDUSKY

To make the best use of its space, Sandusky City School District will shift some of its classes.

Madison Elementary will no longer house a sixth grade but will incorporate another kindergarten class. The change will give the Madison building two kindergartens, two first, second, third and fourth grades, one fifth grade and no sixth grade.

Hancock Elementary will also have some changes. The school will have two kindergartens rather than four. One of the kindergarten classes will move to Madison Elementary School, and one will be eliminated.

The district's regrouping is not final and may continue.
