I sat in disbelief as I read the “You Said It” section in Wednesday’s paper. I understand kids can and will talk in whatever language they want, but for the life of me I don’t know why the Register printed his words. “Retarded” isn’t a word you throw around. I don’t blame the boy as much as I blame the paper for printing it. The boy should have used more class in his interview, but the Register should have used better judgment.
