For some, their education will start with military service as a special moment during the program was held for 10 students who have enlisted in the armed forces.

After their names were read the crowd reacted by giving them a standing ovation.

A special singing presentation by Sarah Matilasic received a large ovation from the appreciative audience.

Superintendent Bruce Keller addressed the graduation class. "Each one of you is ready to not only make your mark but to make this world a better place," he said. "You will do this in ways that you can not know today and may not fully understand at this time. The issue is to get your mind and your heart right and keep them there."
