Six people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Margaretta Township Wednesday morning. A car headed south on Northwest Road failed to yield at a stop sign to a a sport utility vehicle heading east on U.S. 6 about 11:15 a.m., according to Fremont State Patrol deputies.

Two people were flown by helicopter to University of Toledo Medical Center, and four others were taken to Firelands Regional Medical Center via ambulance. No citations have been issued yet.

One woman suffered serious injuries to her leg when she was ejected from the SUV, which rolled several times. She was not wearing a seatbelt, deputies said.
