MARGARETTA TOWNSHIP

Union workers at J.H. Routh Packing Co. rejected the company's latest contract proposal on Saturday. On Monday, union president Jefferson Stephens said a strike is now imminent.

"We are extremely disappointed that it did not pass," J.H. Routh Packing Company's executive vice president and chief operating officer David Stearns stated in a press release.
