SANDUSKY

Police were busy early Thursday morning breaking up crowds near downtown bars.

Sandusky police were patrolling the 200 block of E. Water St. at 2:15 a.m. Thursday when they found a group of individuals leaving a club, yelling back and forth and taunting each other, in a city-owned parking lot. Perkins Township police responded as backup because of the size of the crowd.

As that crowd dispersed, another crowd in the parking lot of a nearby bank started to fight.

Later, officers noticed another problem near a club in the 300 block of W. Water St.
