PERKINS TWP.

A Monday evening executive session ended with a decision to keep quiet.

Perkins Township trustees, Law Director John Coppeler, fire Chief Rick Myosky and Assistant Chief Bill Hodges met and decided cease comment on the controversial digitally recorded argument between police Lt. Al Matthews and Myosky regarding a firearm accident at Myosky's home.

"We reached an agreement to no longer make any comment," trustee Bill Dwelle said. "It's over, dead and done for the sake of the township."
